this happened to me too. and I hadn't changed any make-up or skin care. It took almost 18 months to improve

DA50, yes the injection stuff is still there. If I feel under my eyes with my fingers, it is definitely still firm and I can still even feel the delineation around the stuff. I don't think this stuff ever goes away. Like I say, in 18 months to a year, unless you had known me before, you probably wouldn't think twice when looking at me that I had had anything put there. But even still to today, in pictures I see the difference. My family does too if I ask them.

I just went back and read all the comments, including my own past ones. Looks like I made my first entry in 7/09. That means I had the injection in May of 2009 so really its been almost 4 years. My doctor is a fantastic plastic surgeon, actually had done some other work for me which turned out fantastic, and I really trusted him to do whatever he suggested. The immediate result was very reddened clearly delineated implants under my eye. It looked like I had semi-moon shaped red hard plastic things under the eyelids. My doctor did several different types of treatments, including prednisone to help. Laser treatments, ultrasound, peels, etc. (no charge to me thank goodness - he felt really bad about it) Nothing seemed to help much. The reddening lessened to normal skin color in about 6 months. It never looked like loose bags under my eyes, it was too tight and hard for that. Very obvious the first 3 months, some fading within 6 months. In a year, still noticeable but I tried not to let it bother me since there was nothing I could do about it. At least 18 months before I felt it wasn't sticking out like a sore thumb, but I was still very aware of it. By 2 years, unless you had known me before, you would probably just think I had unusual shaped under-eyes. No discoloration after 1 year I forgot to say. It really hasn't changed much in the last 2 years. Still there, but not too terribly bothersome. If there was some way to get rid of it I sure would. But I would scream it far and wide: NEVER get Radiesse under the eyes!!!!

Well, it's been 3+ years for me and its still here. It's not really noticeable (that much) any more unless you really know to look for it, but definitely its there. I would strongly recommend no one to ever do it under their eyes

The redness probably took about 3 months to go away. I did all sorts of things with my plastic surgeon to try to repair it. He was really good about it, Felt bad about it. Didn't charge anything to try to fix it. He said he had never seen anything like it. I think it took about a year before I felt somewhat normal. I think the size has not changed at all in the last 2 years. Maybe I have just got used to it. It does surprise me sometimes though in looking at pictures that has recently been taken. No one should ever have this done. And I guess it is almost impossible to remove. What we pay for vanity I guess!
