I can only assume that someone going to her knows what they're getting his/herself into, so I don't really see an issue with what she does. I do think what Dr. Pearlman says is worth noting, though. She may not be recommending the best doctors because the best people don't need pimps -- their work speaks for itself.

Yeah, they sit a little too high and don't have enough fullness underneath. Hopefully I'll be able to schedule my correction surgery in the next few months. :/

Interesting methods! Worth a try though. I have a roller AND a floor.

    Hi Scrappy!

I have not had my correction done yet. I haven't had the time to schedule it. :/

My boobs are doing alright. The left (the one w/o CC to start) is still sore sometimes, especially if I sleep on that side. The thing is, they both sit really high now (and are NOT high profile implants). I believe both have slight CC, as they have the same hardness.

I look great in a bra, but I wish they were fuller on the bottom. When I'm in a swimsuit it's pretty obvious they're fake (have even been asked about it). Hopefully when I have my correction the doc will lower the pocket.

Overall, I'm still happy, but I do wish that a) they weren't has hard, b) they sat lower. I miss sleeping on my stomach, too, but it's uncomfortable now.

Honestly, if you can afford to do Strattice, I would do it. I asked my doctor about it but it's just too expensive for me to consider, and he's not that experienced with it. Hopefully you and I will both have better luck the second time around! Keep us posted on how your correction goes.

The biggest thing I've learned is just to take a deep breath and accept that this is a risk I took, knowing the possible side effects and costs of fixing those. Sometimes I still get upset at the situation, and with myself for getting into it, but then I remember that I am still really happy with how my new body looks. I have been making slideshows with some old photos, and I can't believe how different I looked before this surgery! It reinforces to me that I made the right decision.

Best of luck tomorrow! I'll look into my videos -- I know I changed the search settings on YouTube, but I thought they'd still show here. I'm going to do another update this weekend so hopefully will get it all figured out!

The best tips I have for you in these first few days:

    • Take is extremely easy. The pain meds may make you feel great, but still ask for help lifting everything. Also ask for help getting out of bed the first few days. Pushing yourself up is a not a pleasant option.
    • If you don't have button up pajamas, go get some tonight. They make it so much easier than having to pull anything over your head.
    • Also pick up some facewipes if you don't have any. Helps keep you feeling fresh when washing your face is too much effort (the bending and arm work)
    • Have someone leave your pill bottles open for you at night. Opening them yourself is painful on your chest muscle.
    • Straws! They make it so much easier to drink.
    • Pillow under the knees makes back sleeping extra comfy
    • Don't freak out if they look huge! They will shrink. My dad called me Dolly Parton when I first came home. 7 months later and I feel like they are WAY too small!

Those are my "must do/know" tips for the first few days after recovery. I hope it all goes well and that you'll continue to keep us posted!
