Megan,
Respectfully, I disagree with your comment to blond babe. If you look at the reviews and overall q&a there is an overall lack of consistency regarding the safety of this treatment to remove hyaluronic acid based fillers. Others who have had these injections to remove the filler who did not have a face lift such as blond babe, have experienced similar life changing, disfiguring, negative effects. I have done a lot of research on this enzyme - even my own Dr has seen several women who's faces have been ruined by injections of hyaluronidase. The FDA has never approved it for the removal of fillers. Maybe it works for some people but for others it has clearly had devastating results and that should not be minimized - which it seems like you are attempting to do here.
Anyone considering Restylane injections of any kind must understand that there is a VERY high possiblity you will have a long term negative effects. I went to a very well known Dr. supposedly the best in his field and my reactions have been this - numbness, tingling, burning, facial asymmetry - one side of my face is much fuller and larger than the other, restylane migrating to another part of my face, marks on my face from where the needles went in. It has been 9 months. It's your face and there is no undoing Restylane. The hyaluoronidase everyone says will eliminate the Restylane also removes your own hyaluronic acid from your skin and can damage the dermis causing loss of facial volume and a flattening effect, possibly dents and scarring. I know you are probobly thinking what I thought when I came to this site when I was considering getting Restylane injections - it won't happen to me, my Dr. knows what he's doing, I can get rid of it with the hyalurodinase. THE REALITY IS RESTYLANE IS AN EXTREMELY VARIABLE PRODUCT WITH ALL KINDS OF HORRIBLE OUTCOMES. You've been warned.
