Congratulations!!!! I completely understand- what a difference it makes in your life. I am 5 months from my surgery and it was the best decision I've ever made. EVERYTHING looks better on me and I feel great!!!!
WOW- you are a brave sole and I am so happy for you!!! Once the swelling goes down, you are going to love yourself even more. Kudos to your mom for being so supportive. Good luck and God Speed!!
I used Dr. Buhrer myself this past March and loved his bedside manner. I am still recovering but it was the best choice I have ever made. Now that the weather is changing it is so much fun wearing my newe halter dresses and tops. I loved my new breast and my new look and I only spent $160.00 because I purchased 2 surgical bras.
Ok, but keep this in mind. If your surgeon makes you a D, then you loose weight- the work he has done will be altered. Meaning, it may not be as attractive. you need to have the discussion with him or someone on your staff. Because if you loose the weight after your surgery, he will have to go back in to make changes.
Yes, I was ok to go back after a week but took additional time because I was concerned about getting bumped in the chest since I take the Metro in Washington, DC every morning.
No heavy lifting or reaching. Also, someone posted a list of 15 things I wish I knew before surgery on this blog that I found MOST helpful as I prepared for my surgery on March 25th.
