Hi Angie, thank you for your comment. It's been a roller coaster of emotions, I contacted one doctor in my area, and the assistant, after a few questions told me to call back when I've lost weight. I mean I understand there must be some guidelines to be followed, but the way she made me feel was horrible. I've been told to get to a BMI of 28 or less for a consultation to another Dr. I do not see this procedure as a weight loss solution, but that flap I have in my tummy is what really bothers me, when I run it hurts, when I try clothes is "there". Because of the answers that I've got around my area I would consider going somewhere else for surgery. I'll keep you posted.

Hi, I can relate to your story, I'm not as tall as you, I am 5'2' I weight about a little less of 200 pounds. I do exercise 3 times a week with a trainer, I do have a lot of muscle mass. That being said, I had 3 kids, and I hate the flap in my lower tummy. I have to get pants about 2 sizes bigger just to fit my tummy. So I am really considering a full tummy tuck and lipo EVERY WHERE the doctor suggest it. (I do have the bra line thing too by the way).
For now I am still waiting to save a few bucks to do it, and of course getting the courage to go through with it.
So you ladies are very inspiring. Good luck with your procedures, I will keep reading your posts and pray that everything turns to be better than you expected.

    cheers, R.

Thank you for all the responses. I had a phone consultation with Dr Schulman, ( I live in Canada)he was very nice and I really appreciate the time he took with me.
That been said, it was the first consultation I had. So I am going to have consultations with plastic surgeons in my area, and see what they have to say.

Thank you again, and I will post my decision when I make one.

    R.
