Your results are inspiring, your butt before surgery is very similar to mine now, so it's nice to get an idea of what I may look like after surgery :)...can't wait for more pics and happy healing xx
Trust me I know EXACTLY how you feel, it is a scary prospect and I have never even been abroad so not only will I be going to a foreign land, I'll be having a major operation too. I also know what you mean about people not really showing what results are like 6 months post surgery. But people seem to not bother posting after a while but I think what you have after 6- weeks is what you keep.
The thing is for me UK is not an option they just don't do it to the standard that you'd be happy with so it would be pointless.
But don't worry there a thousands of people who fly in from a different country to have surgery as long as your surgeon is reputable has tons of experience and is trusted and known you'll be fine. Just ask him everything you want to know and express all your concerns and you'll be fine. They're used to overseas patients they'll tell you everything you need to know
I totally feel you on the aftercare thing, I haven't set an exact date yet but It will be next summer sometime. I found a few doctors in the UK just by researching online and honestly it was off putting. First of all they literally only had one or two before and after pics which tells me that they don't have as much experience. Two the before and afters weren't even impressive so its like not only do you not have that much experience your not that good at it
I plan on staying abroad for a minimum of 6 weeks and a maximum of 8. I know that's expensive but I think my health is worth it. Like 8 weeks is 2 months so I'm sure that should be enough time to get the all clear from the docs. Some people go abroad to get surgery and only stay for like 2 weeks before going back home so it should be ok.
I think that if you opted for a surgeon in the UK you would be disappointed with the results and it wont be worth being put to sleep only to wake up and not be satisfied with your results. I wouldn't recommend the UK at all and trust me I have looked a lot.
