Hi Ladies - Thanks for all your concern. Today is day 5 and I am doing so much better. Surgery was Monday,and I cam home Tues. On Tues. I started getting a horrible bladder infection. I was literally up every 15 - 30 minutes around the clock going to the bathroom. I never slept 1 wink Tues. nite. On Wed. my husband took in a urine sample to confirm the infection. The Dr. had to change the antibotic I was on from the hospital. Yesterday I felt better and today I feel a lot better. The pain from the bladder infection was way worse than from the surgery. I could take a shower yesterday, so a friend who is a nurse came over to help me do that and to change my dressings. (My husband has been waiting on me hand and foot, but he was too afraid to change the bandages). She said the incision looked great, nice and straight and no infection. I go to the Dr. today at 9 a.m. I hope he can take out 1 drain. I have 3 in. Thanks again ladies for your thoughts and prayers, I have been feeling them.
