Hi Sharon, recovery was just as expected and communicated by Dr Commons and staff. I followed instructions given and I think because of that my recovery went very well. I took it easy for the first couple days post surgery but was getting around very well after that. I was on a business trip about a week after surgery and there were no complications. Pain was little to none, but you probably know that that's relative to the individual. Hope this helps.
