    Thanks, I have about $18,000 in it right now having done it twice, we cannot afford it a 3rd time nor do I want to endure that recovery again but thank you for the encouragement. What a journey.

    I did, 2 responded. I have already tried the mesh, it didn't work. I'm not going through it again so at this point, I'm just trying to learn to be okay with it. It's just not meant to be, sorry though about the expense and recovery as it is alot to ask of your family once, but twice? Good luck with yours, would love to know what you end up doing and what the dr's say.

    So sorry to hear this, I have gone through this and stomach protruded etc. I opted to re do the surgery with a different doctor and it has come undone again, feel free to write me. I know how frustrating it is. Mine is right above the belly button, looks just like yours :( So sorry....It felt like fire crackers going off the first time and the second felt like a fish flipping around in my belly. The 2nd surgeon used mesh the 2nd time so I'm not sure how this has happened, I'm 6 mos post op and see him next month. I know he will be so surprised but there's no way I'm doing it again even if it's free!

    Thank you for your responses, I had the surgery done again with a different doctor with the mesh and the same thing has occurred. I am giving up at this point. I am better off than before surgery but certainly not what I thought it would be. I am 6 months post op (2nd surgery) and again protruding above belly button. Both doctors have good reputations, I've put almost $20,000 into this and will not be having any revisions of any kind.
