Don't worry. I went from 126 to 135 in the matter of 2 days (I didn't dare weigh on surgery day). Needless to say all but about two pounds of that fell off within days and I wasn't exercising at all. I'm sure that with all the extra fluid, and the irregularity caused by some of the pain killers, the "weight" will fall off.
I'm so happy for you! Congrats! I was shocked by the initial days' pain but really was feeling better by leaps and bounds every day. Don't over do it though. I tried to get around too much 4 days after and felt terrible (out of breath etc) but by day 7, I was like a new person and barely needed my meds (Percocet for the 5 days before I went back to work and then ibuprofen after). By day 10 I was more concerned with the uncomfortable pressure in my coat on the way to work then pain. Here I am making 3 weeks today and only feeling minor tenderness, virtually no pain unless I massage too hard. You'll be shocked by how soon you're pain free. Congrats again!
No problem! I found that the front close ones were much harder to find than a pull over one (which will not work since you can't put your arms over your head). In retrospect I should have bought it online like I planned (on amazon they had a ton of sports and post-surgical compression bras) because I ran to like 5 different stores before I finally found a front close in Sports Authority. I'd save myself the hassle if I were you and buy online. Good luck!!
My dr. Sent me home in gauze and large ace bandage sort of wrapping. She had me buy a front close sports bra in advance which I changed into after 48 hrs.
