Thank you. I decided to go to my general physician and he said he didn't think it was a clot either, but better to be safe then sorry and sent me to have an ultrasound of the leg. It came back fine -- no clot. He said the throbbing could be related to fluid retention from trauma of surgery. Who knows. But glad to know it was not a blood clot!
This is what I looked like before procedure (from having babies)... the procedure didn't cause the hanging skin... I already had that and was looking for something to help with that. I had little to no fat from exercise/dieting... but the hanging skin is permanent unless I get a tummy tuck. Bottom line, Thermage does nothing -- no damage, but also no benefit
Thanks. I was told that multiple treatments (@ $900 each) might help... but I think that is a lie/just a way to make more money since the actual Thermage company advertises that one treatment is all you need and more won't do anything more. I was also told only a tummy tuck can't make my stomach look the way it did pre-kids. Long story short, I'm just trying to work on the other parts of my body and come to terms with my post-pregnancy body. I wanted to share my experience though, because Thermage doesn't work and costs a lot of money... hopefully my mistake can help someone else to make a wiser decision.
