Hey there! Just checking in to see how you're doing. We had the surgery about the same time and it looks like we're both concerned about the flanks! Has yours gone down at all? Mine is still super swollen and it's almost like there was no lipo done. My PS keeps resassuring me that it takes time, but I'm anxious!
Goog luck to all you ladies doing it this month! I did mine on March 22nd and I'm 6 weeks PO. The first week is difficult, but trust me, once those drains are out it is smooth sailing going forward! I just updated my review with the advise of, TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR RECOVERY TIME TO DO NOTHING! Just relax and take it easy!
The only way I can wear jeans is if I have jeans that sit on top of my belly button or if I wear my gel zone wrap around my belly, otherwise, it's so uncomfortable! Low rise is not our friend right now, but it will be soon =)
Thanks! Don't be discouraged. My feelings about the surgery vary from day to day as well. Overall, I have no regrets about doing this but of course I had some strange idea that I was going to leave there with this super flat stomach and perfect breats - just wasn't prepared for swelling I guess. I have more super swollen days then not but I've learned to accept it and I'm not going to worry about it until several months from now. Some things my doc said was to not shower too long in hot water because it increases swelling and to make sure you continue to ice your breasts and stomach a couple times a day. hope this helps and remember, you could be swelling on and off for 6 months!
