I felt the same way, like I was worse now then when I went in... Wait two more months and you will notice the difference. Stay away from salt, take it easy and your swelling will subside. I know it was hard not to exercise but your body cant handle much more than a stroll around target, shopping therapy helps! I am one year post op, have not gained a pound thank god, and love my results. May I suggest getting into a good book... Hunger Games Series--amazing!

my MIL stayed 17 days, and it was PLENTY! I felt after 10 I was ok to go upstairs and down. I drove after 14 days. Just a few tips: my PS does drain-free surgery now...just 4 weeks after I finally got mine out, arg. I would look for a doc who uses that procedure. If not, get a rubber yoga band with safety pins to hold the drains for the most wonderful showers you will ever have. Get a few of those wisps toothbrushes for the first few days when getting out of bed to brush your teeth is the last thing you want to do. Do not be discouraged when you are not instantly thinner, it really does take 6-8 weeks before you can wear your pants, and another 2 months before I felt thinner. Good Luck.

Swelling sucks, I know. I still cannot wear anything with buttons. Too Tight! I went bikini shopping!!!Woot Woot!! And I have started jogging too and feeling alot better. Sorry to hear you're swelling so bad, is it really the heat that makes it worse??? If that is the case, I am in for one swell hell of a summer. How is hubby btw?

OMG that is soooo good to hear!!! I am one month post op and cannot fit my clothes, at least one size up. I am not alone!!!! Good luck with the swelling girl.

I had two drains in for three weeks and one month respectively. Just had the second taken out and I feel great. The drainage was to be below 25cc before removal.
