I understand your pain. I'm also a brown skinned girl and I am currently receiving chemical peels for my hyperpigmentation and acne scars. I am on my 5th treatment and I abosultely see no results. On every visit, I am being told by the staff that change is occurring-and that I'll normally would see a difference in 8 treatments. What angers me the most is that, in the initial consult, I was told five treatments would work perfectly. WTF- So, now I have to pay for more treatments. It does not sound ethical to me. I am determined not to be taken for granted, and used solely for my money.
