What to Expect After a Full Tummy Tuck and Umbilical Hernia Repair? - Utah

Kimmer's I have a few questions. I am a single mom of a very active four year old. I will be having surgery on Oct 14. I will be doing a fleur de lis tummy tuck with Lipo of back bra area and hips. My oldest son will be there 2 days after surgery and then I am on my own. I am looking at a hospital bed or recliner. My son will be in daycare. I am wondering when I will be able to drive. All help will have to be hired in as I do not know anyone in the area. Will I be able to drive him in 5 min when I am 3 days post op? I do plan on having someone hired to bring him home and attend to him till bedtime the first week. Or should I do 2 weeks. I am not stressing about the surgery, just the aftermath!

It's a little complicated. I live in Houston till school is out this summer. Moving to Nevada and having it done in Utah. 30 minutes from home where husband lives. I found a good surgeon there and the prices were a lot less. Plus when I move I will have a doc for future surgeries. If I decide to do anything else in future

My little one is 3 and I won't have to take care of him till 2 weeks post op. I'm going to start making him get in and out of car seat by himself. That and shopping carts will be my only lifting. Because I am having surgery out of state I won't be visiting with my surgeon till the day before I have it done.
