Oh don't worry about it! Swelling is completely normal and will take up to a year to come down! You can't really say what the final results will even be close to for a long time so keep your spirits up :) PS it doesn't look bad at all right now either I wouldn't worry

Yeah I have practically no bruising but I swelled up like a balloon! I'm only one week out and it's been going down pretty fast so I hope it stays that way :)

  • Posted to Rhinoplasty to Narrow Bridge - Now, Crooked Nose at 7 Weeks Post Op on 13 Jan 2011

I had a very crooked nose to begin with and my doctor said that often cartilage often has a memory and goes back slightly after some time. He said that even if he makes it perfectly straight after around 6 months it'll move on its own and there isn't much I can do about it. It doesn't seem however that yours was crooked to begin with but it's hard to tell from pictures. I hope it works out! I'm one week post op and I'm nervous that it might go back to the way it was before. Just keep in mind that we are all our own worst critics and no one is sitting there analyzing your nose. You look great and all people will notice is your beautiful face as a whole :)
