    You are so wrong! I had one restore done three years ago and it ruined my nearly perfect skin

    Hi again, I would ask her point blank what laser she used since this is important in long term damage. I was told the palomar starlux 1540 was a lunch time procedure that had no risks at all! The only issues I had at two weeks out were broken veins and a grid like pattern that now resemble a golf ball print with extremely dry skin. My major damage did not show until 6 months out and got worse after 2 years. I do not have any before pictures since the tech and derm both agreed that my skin was incredible and there would be no difference until after the third fraxel restore with the Palomar starlux 1540.

    Hi, I am now 2.5 years into one Palomar 1540 restore treatment and am but so depressed with the condition of my skin that I will not even leave my home. I searched all of the real self posts and found a couple of fraxel reviews that claim that vitamin C might help. I have tried peels, IPL's (only to be burned) and every other expensive skin cream only to find that this does not work. I finally purchased from skinceuticals a 15 percent vitamin c treatment which has dramatically improved the horrific texture of my skin. I will tell you it does dry my skin out but to counter act this I use a very heavy facial cream day and night. Also, do not do any more peels or lasers since this will only make or skin worse. Time and patience is your only answer and I thank you for getting the message out there about laser damage since most people are afraid too

    Good luck girl you are going to need it. Also, wait until 6 months until you post a positive review since this is when the damage begins to show. I am 2.5 years into one 1540 treatment and I look 10 years older and will not even leave my home

    Hi, I was thinking about getting this same procedure done and wanted to know if it was done using the palomar lux 1540 fractional non-ablative laser? After seeing what happened to you and the bad luck I have had with fillers I think I will hold off. Please let me know, thanks
