I did not take any supplements to help with the swelling. As I had said before, I highly, highly recommend the lymphatic massage. I think that you have to wait at least a week before you can have your first massage. PLEASE make sure you get a licensed lymphatic massage therapist - otherwise, if its done incorrectly, it could hinder your results. I am making that recommendation since you said it feels good to massage your stomach and flanks. I had one massage done on day 13 and my second done on day 20 after the procedure. Congratulations again! I am going in for my 2-month check up on the 11th of September. I am very happy with my results. I actually just took four pairs of pants into the tailor to get the waist cinched!!

Hello again...its July 26th and I'm 3.5 weeks from having the procedure done. I must say that I am still happy with the results. I can fit back into shorts and pants that I couldn't fit into before comfortably. Dr. Schlosser gave me advice to wait about 1.5 - 2 months to truly see the results in my abdomen. My flanks are still a bit swollen (mainly toward the end of the day), however I can already tell a difference from before I had them done. My skin is still a bit tender from time to time - I've started my workout regimine, but not feeling up to running. For my cardio, I'm on the eliptical machine at a high resistence so that my heart rate is up, but the 'bouncing' of my body (due to running or something like that) is not there. I also love doing situps and back exercises. It feels good to stretch out and work out those areas in which I had the lipo done. Good luck to those who are considering this procedure. I found it to be well worth it!! But again, can't stress enough to make sure that your doctor has LOTS and LOTS of experience!! I've spent time reading a lot of the posts that people have written and can totally spot which doctors are not as experienced now that I've been through it.

You look awesome! I also am a mother of two and had smartlipo vaser on July 1st. My results are very close to yours - very happy that I had it done. I had been mulling over the decision since last September...now I'm not sure why I waited so long. Congratulations on your new body!!
