So sorry to hear this. I do think that some people are allergie or have adverse effects and it is not in the media. My mishap was too much therefore causing lopsided face. Maybe you can try laser firming treatments to avoid the expense of surgery. Sometimes a chemical peel can help with firming a little too. Hope it works out for you.

I definately agree. No scrubbing with any peel. I should clarify. My personal experience is that I had to use a GENTLE alpha formula wash (<10%) and biomedic makes a GENTLE daily microexfoliation scrub (once the peeling begins) that is recommended during the peeling period and maintenance afterward. I am 39 and my skin doesn't exfoliate very fast. Probably someone younger will not have to do this. An estetition (sp?) also recommended this to me along with antibiotic on the breakouts. So I guess if this is a much stronger peel or your skin is thin and sensitive then you definately need the advice of a competent dermatologist.

I appreciate the long answer. It is a little less lonely and depressing to know that someone else is going through the botox/filler nightmare. Though not having the drooping, I am obviously lopsided. I avoid public places, social events, and bright lighting. I have to see many people at work too. All I wanted was to look less tired even when I am not. I now look 10 years older than 5 years younger for my age. I look like my hubby bonked me in the eye because one is dark and the skin is droopy under it. I spent a small fortune with an experienced doctor to look worse now than before. I look at the before and after ads for filler, botox and it makes me that much more angry. So much for getting a refreshed look. Now like you I just use the excuse that I am tired, or sick, or that my sinuses are swollen on one side of my face. I know they think something is up. I wont take off my glasses and have lost all of my confidence. I hope that yours gets better. I wonder if you took a before picture to a doc if they would have any ideas for you. I am truly sorry for your agony.
