Now 9 weeks post-Liposonix, I stil have visible bruises on both outer thighs. And I am still sore on both. I regret that I did Liposonix. I think the discoloration is scarring, not bruises. I also have not had any size reduction. My weight is exactly the same as it was 9 weeks ago.

I have scoured the internet searching for ONE successful case of Liposonix on saddlebags. I never found it, yet I paid for Liposonix on outer thigh anyway, thinking I would be the exception. 6 weeks post, I still have enough pain in the area to prevent me from running, and there is no measurable improvement. I still have visible lipodystrophy. If ANYBODY out there has seen before/after pics of successful liposonix on thighs, please POST. Otherwise, let's please get the word out that this procedure is not effective on saddlebags, so other hopeful women won't harm themselves physically/financially doing this.
  • Posted to Just Did Liposonix And not worth it no results, scam!..- Baumann research Institute Miami, FL on 29 Jan 2013

Every piece of information I can find about this procedures says that results ARE NOT instantaneous. Results take 8 to 12 weeks. Hopefully the original poster got some good results in the stated timeframe. It is almost a guarantee that NOBODY will get instant results from Liposonix. Liposonix can give only delayed results. I would love to see some research stats on the efficacy of Liposonix 3-months post-op. But reviews that slam Liposonix for not giving INSTANT results aren't helpful. Everybody knows the results won't be instant.

I also inquired from that office about the procedure. Their price seemed quite high, considering the area I wanted to have treated was so small. I continued to seek other providers, and ultimately found 3 offices that would treat the same area for much less. I'm sorry you didn't get good results. I feel there should be some type of guarantee, or refund if no results are achieved. It seems as though doctors are expecting people to donate $2000 to $4000 for possibly NO results.

I understand your viewpoint. I agree, and I also think the cost of the procedure should depend upon the results. No results, no charge.
