I had numbing cream on my lips for about 45 minutes before receiving injections in the lips to numb them for my permanent lipstick...let me tell you...although I couldn't feel my lips when I touched them or rubbed them together... I felt the injections full on as if I wasn't numb at all. I'm absolutely terrified to go back for my second appointment. I got about 8 shots IN each lip, top and bottom and it was AWFUL!

I had my lips done last week - relieved that I would receive a dental block because I was really nervous about the pain. I was expecting about 4 injections (two top and two bottom) in the manner that one would get at the dentist --- ohh noooo --- what I got was about 8 injections per lip RIGHT ON THE LIPS from corner to corner. It was the most painful thing I've ever encountered next to child birth! What the heck? That's NOT a dental block and I am now unbelievably TERRIFIED of going back for my 2nd appointment. Is this NORMAL? I had restylane injections about 2 years ago and I didn't get that many shots in the lips. The dental block was done inside the mouth, not on the lips.

Her surgery went great! She is so thrilled. Her breasts look beautiful. We are going on vacation next week and I'll see if I can get some after pictures and get them posted in the next couple of weeks.

Because the women who don't have it done are put down because they look older; then the women who do have it done are put down because they look fake. In the end, the only thing anyone can do is make themselves feel better regardless of what anyone else thinks. Beauty will be in the attitude.

Thank you for addressing this so eloquently. It's awesome to hear a woman stand up for herself and what "she" wants with such confidence. I was taken back by the original comment in regard to Asians doing this. I'm not Asian and I have worn colored contacts off and on for years. Like you, I consider it the same as wearing make up or coloring my hair. It's fun to change up our looks. Again, great response!

By the way, your eyes look great! I'm considering upper eyelid surgery and I'm in the Scottsdale area also. I'll be adding Dr. Holden to my list of doctors to schedule a consultation with.
