Great Doc. Very Informative - Smartlipo

Well Ladies I decided I am going to wait. I am not mentally ready for this. With a 5 & 8 year old at home I am not ready. I will wait til they are a little older.

I will tell ya I got SmartLipo in Oct. which is less invasive to regular lipo that goes along with the tt and I was swollen for a good 3 months. I went to get rid of my double chin and with the swelling I thoughts this even looks worse than the double chin. It just took forever to go down. Swelling takes a long time unfortunatly. But now I LOVE it. Looks so good.. No more double chin.

Thanks everyone for the support. After a night sleep I feel better today. I never had the feeling of being so confused on what to do.

I know it's a long road to FULL recovery but it seems as if everyone agree's that it is worth it. I feel if I don't do it now I will have to wait another year. I want to recover while it is winter.

I never even had a C-Section before. So I have this protruding belly from the torn muscles. Is the scar better than having the belly? All I want to do is wear a t-shirt and jeans with no belly.

My Doc also wants me to wear the compression garmet from the top of my knees to over my boobs. It wupposidly has no bottom to it at all. Did anyone else have this kind of garments?

I have a girlfriend that had a tt too.. She said she happy with her results and has no regrets. I'm prepared for the pain it is this emotional rollercoaster I am on. One minute I said I can hack it the next I worry about the complications and I have a 5 & 8 yr. old. Should I wait til they are older? I am so glad I have this site and people like you to talk to.
Even my doc. gave me a paper stating my emotions after the surgery. Its a bad 1st week then ea. week seems to get better.

I think it was hard I should have taken the hubby not mom to the pre-op. She made me really question what I am doing.

Can you tell I am a wreck. I had so many typo's in my previous post.(lol)

The nurse told me to get up every hour to walk. Also to loosen my binder every hour for 10 min. for the first 24-48 hours. She also suggested for me use one of my kids bing bag chairs in bed to prop myself up with.

I usually don't have high blood pressure but when Doc took it today it was high due to the nerves.

My surgery is sched. for Feb 1.

I will pray on this one.. I am asking God to give me some sort of guidence.
