By the way, at 3 months, I'm very happy with the results and almost feel normal again. I continue to loose girth...pants that didn't fit just 2 weeks ago now fit fine.
Dizzy, I have had all of the same symptoms that you describe. At almost 6 weeks post op that is finally starting to go away. I only have a narrow band just below my belly button that is still hard. The swelling at the end of the day is LESS - but still there. You have another experience to go through yet - nerve pain - extrememely sensitive to the touch, tingly or sunburned feeling (it's nasty) but that too is getting less. It's easier if you know what to expect - I think - so you don't imagine something is not quite right. FYI - i went out and bought a couple of pairs of maternity pants for those couple of weeks that I just could not stand wearing a waist band. "It hurts to be beautiful"
My procedure was on Wed am and my follow-up was late on that same Friday, by that time I already saw a significant difference. I have lost a total of 8 lbs so far. (he said he took out 3-1/2 liters, that sounds like alot.)In the morning I am very flat, but after working all day I am quite swollen and am ready to put the elastic garment back on.
