Hi I too had extreme pain with the procedure. BUT, was also told since I am a recent ex-smoker that the blood vessels are closer to the surface of my skin thereby producing much more pain. Had my face n neck done. BUT once it was over the pain was gone. Didn't even need otc pain meds afterwards. I think my skin looks best without makeup. Can't believe the extreme difference in everything about my skin from the lifting to the pore shrinkage(I had huge pores). If I were to tell someone to do the fraxel re;pair I would tell em to get sedated though. (((HUGS))) Steff
Hi!!!
Thanks for sharing your experience on video it was a neat idea. I had my face n neck done with high settings on my face lower on my neck as by the time I got to the neck I was done with the pain. Since mine was the re;pair. Did you do the re;pair or the re;store? The results so far are phenomenal and am pleased pleased. I would definitely do it under sedation if I did it again. I believe it took over an hour and my toes curled, fists were clenched and had a hard time with the pain during the procedure but after it was done the pain was gone. Glad to know I am not the only one who had a tough time. I felt like such a baby.:) Thanks for sharing that. Stephanie
