So sorry Farz, I have been following your progress and was hoping for better results for you. What is that bulge then?? why it will not go away after you did everything you could? Can they xray your tummy and see what is pushing? I am learning to live with the imperfect tummy and am too lazy to go get the lipo the Dr suggested to try and fix my bulge. The truth is it may or may not help and that is why I am holding off. Maybe I have the same issue as you. I hope you feel better soon and then see if the PS can find out why its still bulging.
Hi Actorthmom, He did use lip radio frequency called INVASIX. he also complained I had a lot of scar tissue from previous procedures and that he cleaned it. last appointment I had in may he said he will try to lipo whatever little fat he feels I still have left, I am trying to schedule for after the holidays. It had been 1 year for me now since my surgery , Nov 30th.
Hi Farz, good to hear from you but not under the circumstances... I hope it all works out for you and it gets fixed. For the same reason, I went to see 3 Beverly Hills hot shot surgeons, and each has a different explanation why my stomach sticks out so much on top. I contracted H-Pylori in May and wqas treated in July with killer antibiotics, so that is not longer a possibility. One doctor said its an age issue and I just have to accept that at 53 I will not have the tummy of my 30's. One other famous doctor said its fat on the inside the is pushing my internals and that I need to loose 10 Lb and it will be gone. When I wake up, or when I suck my tummy in it looks very good, as I let it out normal the left side sticks out from under the breast till BB and my muscle is sewn good.Very frustrating now I am wide on top and so small on bottom,no waist. Please share your results with us and lets see if it solved the issue
I think so, He offered it and I think I will do it in October. I hope that is the reason for the bodges.
Did you see the recent pictures I posted?
I can still fit in my size 2 pants if ther are low, but my waist is still 1 inch more than before tt.
I think streching it down just brought the fat from upper abdomen to mid section.
I still feel the skin streched and numb but no more pain from pulled areas inside. Funny enough, I did gain the weight back plus 1 lb and it went to my butt and boobs, or upper back all I know is that my dresses are very tight on top. I will keep all posted when I know more. I thik I will go to a 2nd opinion. As this was a 2nd TT it should have been perfect by now.
Farz, I am so sorry to hear about this.I was just talking to Duffy about you the other day.
I am having issues too, there is a boldge in the center upper and also on the left side.
I do have scoliosis which makes my whole rib cage uneven, and I thought this is the reason, but I never had that before, and 5 years ago when I was going through a divorce I lost so much weight and did not have a problem there, I was completly flat .
As I entered my 50's I have had a weight gain of 10lb per yer, and it all went in the center, mind you I am still a size 2 in pants. My PS said my old tummy tuck(1996) was bad and I needed a revision.I have to admit it looks better than it did July last year, but not enough to justify the pain and suffering. He offered to lipo for free, I will go in October. When I touch it, I do not feel a gap but I feel it may be some scar tissue or some hard fat sitting on the left center muscle right under my ribcage. You should see if yours is the same, scar tissue or fat.small women have funny way of arrangements in the belly, so its hard to tell. When I eat, I swell like a whale and 1 or 2 hours later it goes down. When I wake up in the morning with no food and look in the mirror this is what I see in the upper belly, right below the center( and then it continues flat from the navel down .I can tell the 2 muscles are together, but why are they creating this curve?(((. If I push it in, it goes in, and pops right out when released.I am 8 months post and have been doing abs and pilates for 3 months now.I gained back all the weight I lost due to the surgery but I feel it went in my butt. check my pictures from 5 months post and tell me what you think. I am going to try and take a photo in the morning from the left side and post it.
The point I am making is I wonder if because we are small framed, things do not look the same as for others after the procedure.
