Actually, the doctor asked me if this procedure was more or less painful than I expected. It was way less "painful" than I had expected. But, then, again, I can't say it was painful. I experienced a bit of discomfort. but, NOTHING, like I had been concerned about...I'm such a chicken...I had several areas zeltiq was performed on me. During my first area, Gwen asked me if I wanted to look at what she was doing and how much fat was being sucked into the machine...I was so "worried" I refused to look. I told her I was afraid I would faint or get nauseaus...LOL
But, I soon found myself intrigued, because, it was nothing like I had expected (even after reading all the info online)
It wasn't painful, it wasn't gross, just minor discomfort at having my fat being sucked into a machine (not glamorous...LOL) But, after the procedure the Doctor and Gwen and Leslie all warned me of the "possible" side effects as is the responsible thing for them to do....I can tell you, I was concerned i would experience all this things (remember, I'm a big chicken) I waited...nothing...that evening I went out to dinner...
Next day I went to the gym...no problem...It's been a week and I still haven't experienced any side effects (except, some redness and a BIT of tenderness)....but, i already see the difference.....My body is more sculptured...I'm supposed to go back at week 4...but, I'm already sooo excited and optimistic. I can see my body is changing, the treated area looks leaner....
I HIGHLY recommend it!
I would do it again..in a heartbeat! I'm loving it!
