Hi, I took several after pictures with several different forms of lighting. Brighter daylight, a flash, dimmer daylight, indoor light. It's hard to reproduce the exact lighting conditions of the office where the before pic was taken. However, you can see from all these pictures that the shape of my derriere is quite changed, even the crease under the buttocks is is different, and that has nothing to do with the lighting. It also looks lumpier any way you slice it, mainly on the right side.
On the bright side, I wanted to let you know, I have been experimenting with dermarolling at home and am getting amazing results from that. I have done my knees and stomach and although I was nervous and did it unevenly, after a few months I see definite improvement in the skin that was well-rolled. It is tighter and less crinkly. If I ever get a chance to have someone dermaroll my butt, that's the treatment I would go for.
I am still very much undecided because the left side looks better while the right side looks lumpier and has track marks. I interpret this to mean, the treatment could go either way, even on two different parts of the same person's body. I think I will talk to the clinic and see what they think. Right now, I'm just really glad it doesn't look like it did right after the treatment!
' resulting roughness and thinning of the skin.'. see, that's what I'm worried about. The left side looks ok, the right has improved but you can still see marks and it's lumpier than before. maybe if I go back, it will improve, or maybe it will be much worse.Good to know older women should wait one month between treatments. The receptionist was saying I shouldn't wait more than a couple of weeks.
Fortunately, I have some experience with dermarolling. Although this is painful and a bit scary to do at home, I find it works. I did my knees a couple months ago and also my stomach and already see improvement.
Yeah, that sucks. I had Velashape and the same thing seems to have happened to me. Nowhere in the paperwork did it say it could make cellulite worse. I'm really puzzled about what on earth happened.
