I also had a seroma with 40ml liquid. It was taken out and it didn't hurt one bit. It never came back.

Well I guess I'm not the only one with a hard lump above the belly button. It does feel like a muscle...not sure if I really like it and I wish it would go away. I will be seing my PS in the month of July and I hope he can give me an explanation on the hard lump. I had my TT on April 12th, 2011. I am 42 and 5 feet tall, I weigh 114lbs. Did your swelling above the belly button go away and did you pS tell you it would? Your input would be helpfull. Thanks in advanc.

Wow that was very impressive. I'm at 5 weeks post op and I don't have much swelling, never took my pain meds and I feel back to normal again. Can't wait to start my P90X routine... Your story is very inspiring. Thanks.

I have the same problem ... therefore I keep a few bowls of protein snacks like pistashios, almonds, seeds, etc without salt on them. I drink 8 glasses of water per day and that fills me up. I love carbs, but now that I push protein foods, I'm down to 112 lbs with my 5 feet!

Thanks for the info. I saw my surgeon yesterday and he took out 40ml of fluid above my belly button. The swelling is going down and he says we will see in 6 months re: dog ears. He said it wasn't a big issue, he could correct it easily in the office.

    Thanks,
