I waited until the dysport was completedly done just by waiting until all my forehead lines reappeared. Then went back to Botox. My vision is just blurry for very upclose reading which I explected as both parents and sister wear glasses. BUT after Dysport, I had double vision, and focusing issues. Think my vision is taking a normal course now with age.

I had Dysport about 1 1/2 years ago, then Botox, then in Sept of 2010 Dysport again. I have read that doing one then the other you should wait until one has completely worn off which I did not do. I started noticing vision problems such as double, blurry, and just thought it was my age. Just seemed to come on quickly. I let the Dysport from Sept of 2010 completely wear off and went back to Botox. Problem is the vision is still not improved. Mine is upclose vision for reading. Who knows if the Dysport caused the problem. I would think if it were a side effect that it would have worn off by now.
  • Posted to Dysport Results Great BUT Adverse Side Effects Landed Me in Hospital - Pennsylvania on 17 Dec 2010

My cosmetic doctor is looking into the eye issues associated with Dysport and was very concerned. Realizing that most people may just assume they are getting older and the eyesight is getting worse, that they may not even mention any eye issues to him. As I said before, I only made the assoication due to reading a lengthy ad in a magazine. As many probably do, I assumed the eye problems were because I am getting older. He did say the symptoms should wear off in time.

I am experiencing the eye issues and want to know if it wears off when the Dysport wears off? Like many others, I used to do Botox and the only thing I noticed was sensitivity more to sunlight. The doctors office told me how great Dysport is and suggested I switch. Wish I would have just stuck with Botox.

I was reading a STAR magazine last night of all things and saw an ad for Dysport. I read the side effects and realized that is probably the culprit behind my eye problems. I always had perfect vision but it seemed to come on very quickly with the eye issues. I've used Dysport for over a year and the last injections are starting to wear off. Hoping the eye issues will clear up. Called my doctor today and waiting for a call back. I'll post back with any change!
