I had Thermage to the face and eyes three weeks ago. I wasn't expecting a dramatic difference because they told me it would take up to six months to see a major difference. I had a bit of sagging in the jowel area which believe it or not tightened up right after the treatment. That was the area that was bothering me so I'm very pleased. The pain is excrutiating during the treatment. My treatment lasted approximately 1.5 hours. My doctor does not provide valium or pain meds. He thinks you have to feel the pain to know if its working. I think that bull and asked him if he ever tried it. He said he did it on his forehead. I told him he should hand out valium at the door because that's a very painful procedure. Borrow a friends meds if you can't get the doctor to give you meds - you'll need it!!
