Pl3ski,
Where is the evidence that your "successful" treatments aren't causing damage to your skin at a deeper cellular level? These treatments aren't safe, there haven't been enough studies to prove that damage is avoided even when there is a "successful" outcome. I know that cveroleyva thought she had a good outcome until months later she started experiencing traumatizing changes.
Pl3ski:
Correct and ethical procedure would have involved, at the very least:
1. a reschedule at a time which suited you
2. correct info about the risk, precare and aftercare
3. a patch test
I know people harmed by IPL/Lasers who've had the "correct and ethical procedure" you discussed. Let me just say, there are no guarantees... My message is, "Do you want to gamble with your face."
And, don't even go there, Pl3ski, that it's up to the patient to go to a practioner who knows what they're doing because I know many people who were harmed even with going to THE very best laser Drs.
"2. people who've had treatment which was inappropriate for their skin type, or skin problem"
This comment alone should be enough to deter people because if indeed this is true, a hell of alot of people are being injured because they are being TOLD, yes, it will work for their skin type and YES, it will work for their skin condition.
It should NOT be up to the patient to know this!
