The reason I'm going for a consult with LL is cuz they're the only surgeon I can find to do it with a local. I've been to 4 other surgeons and only 1 said he would do it with twilight, I asked to talk to the anesthegiologist before the morning of surgery and before I paid a deposit and when I talked to him he said he would not do it unless I had general anesthesia. I'm glad I talked to him in advance or I'd have ended up changing my mind the day of sugery and forfeiting the deposits etc. I had heart bypass surgery 6 years ago and had a heart attack and stroke during surgery. The docs dont know why so thats why I'm terrified of anesthesia. Yeah I too don't like the corporate way of doing business. The surgeons I'm meeting with also have their own private practices and I'm thinking if I dont agree with what LL want me to sign I'll go to their own office. My appt is Friday so I'll see how it feels when I talk to them. I cant find your first post about LL. What happened? Sue

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm in Arizona and I like the idea of a local rather than a general anesthesia for a neck lift. The surgeon is board certified and all that and from postings on Real self everyone seems happy with him. I hope you have a good outcome with your new doctor. Keep me posted
