It has now been almost 6 months since my surgery and believe it or not my scars are almost gone! They were never painful at all. At the recommended time from Dr. E I used the topical cream to help my scars heal and they have healed beautifully. I am sure they will even more unnoticeable in the next six months. I am very happy with the results.

The rapid recovery technique is a step by step (or hour by hour) guideline to ensure recovery is as quick and uncomfortable as possible. I'm sure my description won't do the technique justice as I'm sure Dr. Epstein would be able to detail it best and add the surgical techniques used to ensure that rapid recovery works. I knew prior to my surgery when I returned home how to implement the rapid recovery plan. I knew when to eat, when to sleep, when to take my medications and when to do my exercises. I followed the technique by the book and I was up and out within 24-48 hours with little to no pain as time went on. My family and friends were shocked especially with me I don't do "pain" well and I was perfectly fine. The most discomfort I had was getting used to sleeping on my back...which no surgeon can help that. But in time I got used to it and was able to sleep on my side and the recovery was a breeze. I still am shocked at how easy the whole process was...thank goodness!
