Hi Cinnamon2. I would say it began to soften about 1.5 months. Yes ur Dr is correct about frequent draining. My seromas r healed now but scar tissue has built in between the spaces where fluid used to be. So naturally those areas r now hard but not rock hard. Congrats on ur surgery and heal well :)
