Yes all is back to normal and has been since about March. It was supposed to be for my crows feet too, so it wasn't injected directly under my eye but off to the sides high on the cheek bones. The problem is it can weaken that orbital muscle so if you have any slight tendency towards eye bags they will be more pronounced because the muscle isn't contracting normally. Why did you have it injected under your eye? Your puffiness the next day may just be trauma to that area. The bags under my eye didn't start to be noticeable until the Dysport set in so about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks is when I really started to see them.
You sent me a private message but I could send a private message back because your settings wouldn't allow it so I'll answer it here. It has been a little over 5 months for me and I feel I'm almost back to normal, about 95%. I think, at least for me, it took a while to metabolize and the orbital muscle that is under the eye is a weak muscle to begin with so I think that is partly why it has taken so long. But after about 10 weeks post treatment I was feeling like I looked pretty normal and wasn't so self conscious anymore. I know some other people have had bad experiences that haven't worn off but it has for me with no other adverse side effects. Good luck, you'll have to give it time to wear off.
Hi Birmingham2, I am now 16 weeks post treatment and I am probably 95% back to normal, I still have a very slight pull under my eyes but it has gradually lessened over the last several weeks. I've had a history of botox lasting a good four months for me so I think the dysport has been similar. Yes, unfortunately you'll have to wait it out, not what you want to hear. Try some of the things I mentioned to Karen9053 below, they may help some. I may go back to Botox but only for my forehead, I'll never do anything around my eyes again! Hang in there.
