On me it was loose shin, sort of a little pocket of slack skin. I just had it done last night but am hoping it will heal fast. I went to work today and no pain at all, but it is still oozing a lot.

The novocaine shots hurt a bit but it soon goes numb. I am still bleeding (seeping) because they don't cauterize like they do in deeper tissue. But all in all not too bad.

I just had a little dog ear removed last night. Very minor surgery compared to the BIG Show. I too love my flat abdomen, well worth it all. Just have to remember how every day was a climb for a while but you do get thru it.

Oh my, how could I have forgotten stool softener? Its been a year since my surgery and I guess it's fading into memory now. You DO NOT WANT to get constipated, and it's almost inevitable if you take any narcotic pain killers such as codeine.
I kept a bottle of Milk of Magnesia with me at all times, in addition to the stool softener.
