I feel guilty because you were so good keeping up with me when I was nervous about the surgery, and then afterwards, I get busy with other things, and don't post much. I love getting the updates and I read them, but just don't take the time to post...sorry about that.
I too have a little dog ear and have thought about having it done. How long is the recovery time? My dr said he could do it whenever I am ready for it. I think if I lose some more weight, it will probably shrink a little. I am doing water aerobics and lifting weights so that helps but need to cut my eating habits to get better results.
That's true, Kimmers. I am so glad I had my surgery but was so nervous going into it. My husband actually had to get me up and dressed to get to the hospital in time. But now,18 months (almost) later, wow, am I glad I did it. And again, thank all of you for your input and ideas on what was needed. That really helped me keep on track. My dr and staff were great, and I did everything they told me to do, and your suggestions, so here I am looking better and feeling GREAT.
I had my tt over a year ago, and I also did fine without the hospital bed. I slept in our second bedroom with a bed that was not as high and used lots of pillows under by legs and behind my back. I did have the eggshell pad underneath and used some plastic pads under as well, in case I leaked, but did just fine. It took a few days till I felt up to getting out of bed, but my husband was great and got me up and down for potty breaks and to move around a little. I used him a lot for pulling up and getting back down. I am so glad I had my surgery and feel so much better afterwards. Good Luck and God Bless You.
You are looking good, too. My ps did the vertical to take out fat and reattach my muscles there. It is looking good, and I am working on getting them back in shape. Still have lots of work to do, but feeling better all the time. Take care of yourself.
