I wrote on your thread last December almost 2 years after my 1st op. I was so unhappy. About a month after I wrote my comment I was granted a free revision carried out by the same clinic but with a different surgeon. He added rib cartilage to build my nose back up where it had collapsed in the middle, straightened the septum so i could breathe again and removed a lot of the scar tissue in the tip to stop it being so ridiculously bulbous and hard. He also narrowed my bridge so i didnt look like i'd been punched and my nose was just spread across my face. He also removed the bump completely that had just been pushed lower in the original surgery. He told me it was a very complicated procedure as the previous surgeon (now gone) had made such a mess. Even the second incision (as both were open septo-rhinoplasty's) is now almost invisible. The original unfortunately is still very visible and probably always will be. I can't recommend him enough for the improvements he made of someone else's mess. I'm happy to have photos taken from most angles now as even though its not perfect, it now looks normal. I'm glad you've found happiness without surgery but for me the original surgery was such a mess I couldn't have left it as it was. I cried all the time at the mess he'd made. I've now found happiness with my revision and as scary as it was to go back under a surgeons knife, I've no regrets at all.

Hi Laura, like you I had surgery nearly 2 years ago now and I couldn't be more unhappy with the results. I wasn't expecting perfection, I only want a small bump removing and a little shortening of the length. What I got was a very deviated septum, to the point where it blocks my breathing to a certain extent, a hugely swollen tip, caused by scar tissue inside I imagine and on the very tip there is a recess on one side and a pointy bit of cartilage on the other. I absolutely hate my nose now, I never liked it before but I hate it now. From the front I used to like my photo taken, I never liked side shots because of the bump, but now I hate front and side shots! I have a revision consultation booked in for the 8th January. It's with Transform again but my original surgeon has now left or retired. How very convenient! Anyway, I'm hoping they will be able to do something for me. Rhinoplasy was the worst decision I've ever made.

I know exactly how you feel. I had open rhinoplasty in January and my nose is bulbous on the end, sensitive to touch and the cut underneath is totally visible. I'm as much, if not more, self conscious than I was before surgery. I'm actually beginning to really regret I got it done in the 1st place. I would definitely not recommend Transform in the UK. I'm going to wait another 6 months and then look at getting revision surgery. I think you should wait about another 6 months too.
