The pain is bad so get them to give you more and better pain meds as well as sleep aids. Be sure to stock up on tension head ache meds as well. If not them then see your family doctor. I have not had a problem with ED. I was just making a joke because it is one of the possible side effects of Propecia. I am still functioning very well. I had 2200 grafs, and was in the chair from 8 am until 4:30pm, and was being worked on for most of that time. A few bathroom breaks, and one for lunch. They told me I would not really see in any real results until some time near the new year, and so far they are right. With the Rogaine and the Propecia I have had a lot of my existing hair grow, as well as some new growth in some areas but nothing really to speak of. If the results are as promised then I think it may have been worth it. I am not trying to talk people out of getting the proceedure done; just trying to prepare them for what is coming. The counselors are not going to tell you the truth because you may opt out. If you thiink you would feel better about yourself for having this done then do it, and go in knowing the truth. Ask for more and better pain meds for before during and after, and be prepared to have some one help you out while on them. Also keep in mind that for about 2 weeks you will want to keep your head covered while in public. I hope this helps, and again; if this is something that will make you feel better about yourself as I am hoping it will do for me then by all means do it.

I think if they were able to reduce the amount of pain during the proceedure, and had I flown as I had wanted to do then maybe I would have thought differently the 2nd day after. If you are considering it then I suggest asking for better pain medication that will last you for 2 weeks. I am a month and a half out, and there is still a little pain so you can imagine what it was like just after. And again, during the proceedure the local they gave kept wearing off, and having it shot directly into the open wound was horrible. I have yet to see any real difference, and I am told it will be a few more months before I do. So, consider your pain threshold, let them know you want better medication before, during, and after, and by al means have some one with you to drive you where ever you need to go. I cannot wait to see if I look better in a few months, and if I do then maybe it was worth it.
