Thank you spycegrl93!!! You look awesome, and yes it's very true that us women of color are very prone to scarring. I got flesh color cosmetic tattoos to cover up my incision marks, it made it less noticeable, at least for me. Now i can wear my bikini without worry. Only bad thing is i can no longer tan, or the tattoo will show up in white dots and streaks. Anyways, keep up the positivity and love!

    Hi Julia,

I understand exactly how you feel, only if our fat goes to the places where they're "suppose" to be lol. Currently, my biggest problem area is my upper abdomen where the fat had gathered. As for all procedures, please do consider all the pros and cons first. In my opinion additional procedures is unnecessary— unless the fat transfer could provide you a dramatic result that can truly satisfy you for the next decade. However, for me, I would not go through any cosmetic surgery ever again regardless to how I look in the future. Having a muffin top may not be pleasing but as long as I’m healthy and active, there’s nothing else I would take from or add to my body. After all you’re most beautiful when you’re happiest. I wish you the best Julia, go after the things that will make you happy and avoid the things that won’t.

Hi waterlipo, by now you probably have most of your questions answered. But i think the water lipo you mentioned is the same wet liposuction i had. It is less harsh on our bodies compare to traditional liposuction. However, you should still consider long and hard before proceeding, regardless of the technique. Be very very certain of what you want. Consider all the factors and ask yourself if surgery is really necessary. Best wishes, and i hope you have made a well informed decision.

Thank you chilo! I'm very happy to hear that you made a confident decision. It's important that we are proud of the choices we make at the end of the day. I kept it as a secret from my mom because I wasn’t proud of my decision at all; it was a very unnecessary procedure for me. I wish you the best, and keep believing in your gut... it's the right way to go!
