Before laser treatments you will want to know if the tattoo that was used on you had yellow or skin tone in it. If so you will need up to 10 laser treatments to remove the tattoo color. If your tattoo has yellow in the pigment then the first couple of treatments with the laser the tattoo will turn black. This will lighten with each laser treatment. It can be done it just takes longer. I had the same problem 12 years ago and after one laser treatment learned of the yellow in the pigment problem. Once I saw the first shot turn black (I have light red hair) I opted to leave and have used waterproof coverup and re-penciled in my brows. Now they are light enough that I am going to try another technician's hand at permantently convering up and re-applying permanent eyebrows. Good luck.
