  6 years ago I had my Gastric Bypass. I would do it again tomorrow. I agree with the one person who said to seek counseling. Something can happen during the weight loss. You are not the first person I have heard of that has had severe emotional reactions to the surgery. I too suffer from malabsorbtion and have to take extra (more than anticipated) vitamin supplements. I Lost 168 lbs originally and have regained about 20. It's my fault though because I don't eat as well as I did originally and I don't work out everyday like I use to. Ben and Jerry's is not comfort food, it is killing you. I eill pray for you and I hope you find peace.
