Has anyone had luck with cortisone injections into the lumps? I have had at least 6 rounds and they seem to work. The sculptra disolves, but it does leave my skin patchy and lumpy. I had extremely low doses done over the course of 4 weeks and it is almost all gone now. I will need to get some laser treatments or perhaps Juvaderm(gasp!) to make it even again. I am afraid though they will come back from what i have read on other posts. Anyone have problems after cortisone injections?

I would also like to see about a class action suit. Let me know if Oprah responds too. I had my eyes swell up with hard, painful lumps about 6 weeks after Sculptra. I don't mean granules, I mean a full blown allergic response. I can barely open my right eye and i have pain and headaches all the time. I just had 4 more injections of cortisone to stop the progression. I can't imagine what my face will look like when it finally starts to calm down. I am told it will be very saggy and wavy from the cortisone.

Do you know where I can find the paper you are referring to?

you sound very similar to my story. I have attempted many of the same remedies. The drs. wouldn't believe that it was from the sculptra and thought it was an infection, allergy, anything! My face is hugely disfigured and I'm not sure it will ever get better. I had an injection of cortisone a couple of days ago into one lump and it seemed to help considerably. I am going to get another tomorrow. have you had any side effects from cortisone? how have you used it with the saline?
