The truth is that there is no regulation on ANY cosmetic labeling organic or otherwise. Products found in drug stores dept. stores etc... are loaded with pore clogging garbage and irritants yet are labeled non comedogenic, dermatologist tested and hypoallergenic. The FDA only researches complaints against the companies. Whole Foods does have a team that researches ingredients in the products. I am a Master Esthetician and recommend many of the products available there. They are much better than anything offered to the public at this time. If you would like to research ingredients yourself, Google non-comedogenic ingredients list or comedogenicity scales. You will find many sights that rate how irritating and pore clogging an ingredient is. Stay away from alcohol even if your skin is oily!
