  You do not have to use the really expensive strips from the doctors office. My doctor recommended a professional level silicone strip that just came out over the counter call ScarAway. Walgreens has the 3" strips, I ordered the longer strips at Amazon.com. ( i needed two strips end to end to cover my scar. They worked so well that my once "angry" red scar is so pale..it's no longer the first thing I see in the mirror :) Of course anything is better than the saggy, stretched skin..GONE! I began using the ScarAway strips afetr my doc looked at it and all of the incision was healed up and there were no more "leaky" spot (sorry girls..but you know what I mean)....cheers to enjoying our new bodies!
