I had ultherapy treatment almost two months ago and am still feeling numbness and tingling in my scalp, especially on the left side. I see from your responses to another patient, this should subside in a few days, but could last up to 6 weeks. It has already been 8 weeks and doesn't feel like it is getting better. Could this be permanent? My doctor has recommended steroids. Will this help?
I have significant swelling under my chin 4 days post Ultherapy. i also have numbness in this area. How long does the edema(swelling) typically last post procedure? I am told there is very little recovery time but there obviously is recovery time involved due to the swelling under my chin. I did not receive lidocaine injections prior to procedure.
I had ultherapy on lower face and neck yesterday. In the evening I noticed swelling and used ice packs. I went to the gym this morning as usual and had a tough workout (about 18 hours post procedure). Tonight the swelling is the same or worse and bruises are appearing. I have now read strenuous exercise is contraindicated if there is swelling. I am also experiencing numbness. Have I doomed myself to extended swelling thanks to the exercise? Does it matter if I continue to exercise strenuously now?
I got ultherapy 2 days ago and noticed that my lower left lip is not moving or working properly. My smile line changes and I'm having a hard time drinking water from the glass and with the straw (I can't use the straw at all) also eating. My lower left cheek is also numb. This is never damage isn't it? Is it temporarily and can self-healed?
I had the full face and neck yesterday now I have a few issues . First off I felt a horrible shooting pain in the top of my head while my fore/brow was being treated. Today:headache and numbness on the top of my head I woke up with a ball under my chin feels hard swelling? After 1 hr next part another level of intensity . I had ultherapy a few days ago and had a nerve block for pain. I am wondering whether the lingering numbness in my neck and jaw/cheeks is caused by the ultherapy or by the nerve block. I would like to know if this is a reported side effect of ultherapy and how long it is likely to last.
I've had an Ultherapy procedure done a week ago.licodin injected was to my lower part of face/chin/neck to make it numb in order to preform the procedure. It is now a week since it was done and I feel my lower part of the face is still numb. A.Is this normal? B. Can it be the Licodin, or is it the Ultrasound? C. how long should it last for? D. Is it causing any other damage to my skin? does the fact the the skin feels numb, reduce amount of blood to the place of make any other damage to it?
feels hot/numb/tingles everywhere on the rht side. I was so overwhelmed by the degree of the pain on the rht, I don't rem if she did 2 passes on the left. It didn't hurt AT ALL on the left. Now my rht side is huge and swollen and the left looks sunken compared to the rht. Is this nerve damage? Will I always be numb on the rht? Will the collagen grow asymmetrically and my face be lopsided as it looks and feels now? Its mon, I had this done last wed. I JUST want to look and feel even.
