I see in most situations muscle repair is recommended. I have had a child and have gained/lost weight. But I feel like I don't want the muscle repair. I feel like the removal of the skin alone would be enough for me to be happy with my looks. I get that the muscles are separated, but they are separated now also if I do not get a tummy tuck. Also I see doctors saying that it won't get perfectly flat, but I am also far from perfectly flat now, without a tuck. How bad are we talking?

I feel like the removal of the skin alone would be enough for me to be happy with my looks. I'm going for improvement, nor perfect. How often is this done? Do surgeons pretty much always try to talk you into the repair? Is there a medical reason it's necessary? This in advance
I workout daily (weightlifting, crossfit, endurance etc) and focus heavily on my nutrition. I had a TT about 10 years ago, had a child 3 years ago and lost more weight. I would like a revision done but don't feel I need muscle repair. I have laxity in my skin, i never liked my belly button and would like that revised and also a reduction of the mons pubis area. What are your thoughts?
I lost 90 pounds. I'm 5'10 193 pounds. I just want my stomach/apron flatter. Not moving with heavy weight lifting. Doctor told me that a tummy tuck cannot do anything for me and that he would only recommend a belt lipectomy. I don't want that. Do you think I can benefit from just a tummy tuck, no lipo, no muscle repair.
I would like to avoid diastasis repair for quicker healing. I have small children, and not a lot of help. I understand that I may not be able to dive the bet results, but my flap is my main concern along with some ft deposits. (Lipo would take care of). Are there plastic surgeons that will honor the request for no muscle repair. Thanks
I had a tummy tuck without muscle repair three weeks ago. I have had a busy few days at work and this past weekend did more errands and activity than I should. I'm wondering if this swelling and soreness (sore like after a difficult workout) is normal and am I just overdoing it? I have an appointment with my PS coming up but just wanted some feedback. Thanks!
