I had a full tummy tuck in 8-1-23. In September at follow up I had a seroma he cut open and drained about 2 cups of fluid. In December I saw my Dr. and had fat nercrosis removed in January. He said I had scar tissue left and we would discuss at it at my next appointment. On April 16th he is going to start injections to dissolve the scar tissue. The area is hard, uncomfortable and hurts. I want this removed but am afraid Ill possibly go through all the above again if I have a revision.
Full TT in Oct 2021, w/ 1 drain removed at 2 weeks and 3 wks. While I no longer had sagging skin, I was still left with large bulge in my lower abdomen, noticeable in clothes. I asked my surgeon & she said it was remaining fat. 2yrs later, this bulge is now hard, isolated to my lower abdomen, has palpable borders (where subcutaneous tissue density changes) & it is painful to touch firmly/manipulate. Ive since had airsculpt, with hopes to remove it, but it persists. Thoughts?
Surgery 2/5/21 tummy tuck with muscle repair, no drains (never had kids) Left pic taken on April 3 2021 Right pic taken on October 5 2021 Why is this getting worse and not better? Is this a pseudo bursa? Doc saw me in June - did not address my concerns - just said to give it more time. This is getting worse. What is happening?!
I had a tummy tuck surgery about 5 months ago which resulted in having a sizable black tissue between my bellybutton and the incision, the doctor removed the black thick skin and we started using local antibiotics - the dead tissue is still healing but the color of the skin is very red to brown. I am not sure if my belly is swollen or the doctor did not tighten my stomach muscles enough. What is the reason for the dead black tissue and why my belly looks that I did not have a tummy tuck?
I had a tummy-tuck done five years ago. I still have bulging above my scar. Abdominoplasty was done five years ago. I was not happy with the bulging above the scar at a year post-op, so a small liposuction procedure to remove what she believed to be a little excess fat that was left behind. I still have this bulge which looks like a shelf above my scar. it looks uneven in different spots above the scar. Below the scar it's flat. Could this be a pseudo bursa? Thought after five years my tummy would look better than this. Prior tuck, I had loose skin, little fat.
I had a full tummy tuck on 14 Jan ,19 no drains or tightening. Bad reaction to the anaesthesia & ended up vomiting violently and loosening my stitches which caused some blood loss. I developed a seroma which the PS has been draining twice a week for 6 weeks. I have had a bulge since bandage removal. PS said it was the seroma and swelling but now the bulge has hardened and it is uncomfortable. PS seems confused and has no answers or plan. My tummy looks worse than before the TT. Is this a PB?
I am 6 months post op tummy tuck. Left side is bigger than the right. I am meeting with my PS in 2 weeks to discuss options. My PS diagnosed it as a small seroma a few months ago, however did not recommend aspirating the area because it was so small. The recommended approach has been massaging the area and 24/7 compression garment. I have followed PS directions, however I have not seen an improvement. I am concerned that the seroma is now a pseudo bursa. I have an ultrasound scheduled.
I had an abdominoplasty 8 months ago. MRI shows small hernia over belly button and small seroma above belly button. Dr did not mention it showed significant pseudobursa. Does this mean it's not a Pseudobursa? I got a second opinion from another Dr and he wants to cut another incision (another scar?!) above belly button to do liposuction and remove the seroma. I'm very confused as to what is the best course of action. Stomach is very tender, swollen with shooting pains above the belly button.
I had some lipo and a full TT with muscle repair Nov 2016. In the last 6+ months I've been getting Charlie horses in my stomach and extremely painful. I also have feeling of my stomach rolling under my skin. I swell everyday and skin soo tight. I look 4 months pregnant. My bulge is hard as a rock too you can actually feel like there is a big mass under my skin. Also right above my pubic area is totally numb and it feels like there is fluid just floating around like a water bed.
