I had a tummy tuck done 7 months ago. My scar is flat but is dark in color. Ive tried several different silicone strips and gels but has not given results. I want to lighten the scar. What are the best laser treatments out there to lighten the scar?
I underwent a tummy tuck 7.5 months ago excess skin over the incision from 4 csections. I'm 41, very athletic (run marathons and do bootcamp style high intensity workouts). My doc is bd certified, but my results are underwhelming. I can barely tell the diff between before/after. She only did lipo along the suture line. Belly button looks awful (despite scar massage, gel strips, etc) and I don't think my waist looks any better than before. Do I need a revision, just more lipo, or what?
I had my TT in Feb 2021 and am unhappy with the results. I cant see a single but of difference and its been 7 months. I have since lost 5 pounds, workout 4 times a week, eat 1100 calories or less a day and still do not see a difference apart from the scar. Why did this not work on me?!
After the birth of a large baby 6 years ago, my abs have been separated. I have been unable to strengthen my abs or engage my core (TVA). I have done physical therapy multiple times with no improvement. My gap isn't large but it is deep. My stomach feels pregnant and loose even though I am thin, and my back always hurts. Would a TT with muscle repair improve ab functionality and strength?
This is a picture of myself on day 15 after my surgery. I'm discouraged and unpleased with my results. So far I look worse than I did before. So much money for no results. I know swelling takes time but I see no improvement at all. I'm starting to regret my surgery.
I'm kinda upset. I guess I expected that I would've lost a little weight from the skin, and an inch or so maybe? But its been a little over a month now and I guess I expected things to fit differently. And I actually gained 8 pounds. And yes, I know it isn't a weight loss surgery at all, but I figured the skin would weigh -something-. Will it change eventually? The pic is what was removed.
I had an extended TT and my surgery was unusual in two respects. First, one goal of the TT was to remove a couple dozen lipomas from my upper& lower abdomen. Second, I had a pancreatectomy years ago that made the surgery more complicated. I know my case is complex but I am highly concerned because the swelling has not gone down at ALL. I'm upset and terrified. My surgeon never said anything about something like this happening. I would very much appreciate some input before I see him again.
