I just realized that Ive been some degree of lower belly bloated throughout most of my adult life. Sometime less sometimes more varying between foods that cause gas or menstrual bloating. What can expect after my tummy tuck? Is this going to resolve? Or could it cause problems...?
What vitamins are needed to ensure blood work levels are at a great standing before and after surgery (Lipo, tummy tuck and BBL)? Blood builders are taken before surgery? Can heavy menstruation conflict with surgery and/or hemp levels? Vitamin c? Vitamin b complex? Blood builder? Multivitamin?
Hi- I had my tummy tuck on 4/8/19 and began my period a week later (approx 1 week early) and have been menstruating ever since (going on 13 days). Although Ive read this can be a normal response to trauma, Im wondering one long this typically takes to resolve?
Hello, I am 4 weeks tummy tuck post op. I have noticed significantly more swelling in my lower abdominal area in the past 3-4 days. I am all about a week away from my period. Could this be contributing to the significantly more swelling??? My belly looks so full and rounded!
I am 53 years old I have uterine fibroids which causes heavy menstrual bleeding, I was told my uterus is the size of a 6 month pregnancy my stomach does not protrude whereas the size of my uterus is visible to anyone's eyes, I want my tummy as flat as possible when I get my tummy tuck, should I take care of getting a hysterectomy first (recommended)? Will two different board certified surgeons work together to do both at the same time?
I had a full tummy tuck with muscle repair 3 years ago with no complications. I had the usual swelling after my surgery but it seems like it hasnt really went away. My question is do people with tummy tucks have water retention than people who haven't had tummy tucks? It is only My tummy and it is swelling of some kind because i can feel it under my skin. My skin will kind of feel squishy. But this isnt all the time and changes from day to day and has no correlation with my menstrual cycle.
I had a TT 5 years ago. I have recently been bleeding for 2 months straight on my menstrual cycle. I am 42. All blood work and ultrasounds return normal. I am experiencing throbbing persistent pain directly to the right side vertically of my belly button. It feels like a pulled muscle w/a high level of pain. I have not done any heavy lifting or activity that would cause such pain. I am considering asking my IM doctor for an MRI. Could this be related to my TT? The dr was agressive with the TT.
I had my tummy tuck performed on April 4th and I was also menstruating on the day of surgery(my period showed up the day before surgery). I woke up this morning and I have my period again which makes it 16 days apart and also means that I've gotten it twice this month.
After I lost about 150 lbs,now my abdomen hangs really low and covers my pubic area.During my Periods it hurts a lot in the lower abdomen,It feels like my ovaries are just hanging and someone is putting and hard.It is very painful I can barely walk normal during that time.It also happens after I workout or I am cleaning myself under the flap, that area is very sensitive.I have a LOT of skin hanging beyond my c-section area about 6 Inches below.Could it be due to hanging skin & will Insurace Pay?
